I have to admit that I am a sceptic about Valentine’s day and I do think that the whole day is about how to get money out of people. Actually, if there is a movie scene that could describe my feelings about the date, it is the one from Bridget Jones’s Diary where she is it at home, checking her messages (zero new messages) and you can hear ‘All by myself’ in the background.
However, there are people who adore Valentine’s day and can’t wait for this day to come. Those who are in love (or maybe have been for decades) and would like to do something special for their ‘better halves’. Our intern, Monica, has gathered together these quotes from famous Hollywood movies and I have to say, even my cold and sceptical heart started to melt and I actually laughed reading these lines and imagining the movie scenes (Only a bit though).
