In the build up to our Christmas Party we are celebrating friends and neighbours by featuring a local or partner business on our blog. We feel privileged to be part of such a vibrant community made up of generous, hard-working and friendly people. This Christmas remember to #shoplocal and the best chance to do so is on Thursday 7th December from 5pm during “Christmas lights” event which takes place on Lower Llandaff Road. Today, we will introduce you to a great shop where you not only can buy different varieties of tea but you can also have a cuppa there and chat with its wonderful owner. Do you want to know more about her? Keep reading then!
This year, it is not us, the Peartree team, who is interviewing the local businesses but our students are doing so! Please meet Efe from Turkey who had the opportunity to work on his listening and speaking skills in a real situation. If you want to participate as well, please speak to Barbora or Tereza.
Moreover, if you buy a raffle ticket, you can be the lucky one who will win a beautiful package donated by Michele from The Apothecary!

Because she’s lives in Canton and her house is just around the corner from her shop.Efe asked: Can you recommend me some tea which can be mixed with milk to bring home as a souvenir?
Michelle recommended Efe English breakfast tea which can be mixed with milk and also advised him the right preparation procedure.
