Dates! Written by Basel Al Ahmari

Dates are a kind of fruit and they grow on palm trees usually in hot places, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Sometimes dates become dry or sticky. They're also sweet and soft. It's good because it's natural sugar, but there's a stone inside them with you don't eat.

Our international students

When dates appear on palm trees they'll be green but when they grow they become yellow then orange, then red, and finally black.

Historians disagree about the origin of dates. Some historians say it's Was around the Arabian gulf before 6000BC. Egyptians were known to use dates in wine.

Have you missed your breakfast?
There is always something good to eat at Peartree Languages
Arabs provide dates for their guests at parties. To eat dates we eat 3,5,7,9 etc pieces just odd numbers. The most popular time for Muslims to eat dates is Ramadan month. It's healthier in the breakfast because it's give you a lot energy.
